Hi, welcome to purpletree research. We are a small, non-for-profit group of individuals interested in vocal artificial intelligence. Our main focus in the field of AI is primarily the LIBBY framework; A vocal artificial intelligent toolkit written in C and LISP that provides a self-learning robotic system that is capable of analyzing, categorizing, and sorting real-time data queries into an internal database. LIBBY consists of a natural linguistic human speech pattern recognition system and provides an intelligent real-time response to spoken words. The database we are using for the ONLINE version of MILO is the MIT START Natural Language Question Answering System.
Creating LIBBY consisted of research and mastering computational natural linguistics, writing a constant listening system to parse human voices into data-streams, designing a real-time data mining & crawling system and applying a work around for vocal bounce acoustic issues (timeout-sound, bounce/lost sound, ultrasound hertz loss and infrasound static).
Practical applications for the Milo/LIBBY Framework can be applied to biomedical research, healthcare and accessibility, smart homes and intelligent mobile systems. The current active implementations for our research is aimed at a working smart home, and vocal authentication and server statistical tracking in a data center located in south florida.
